A short documentary video about how farmers can reduce their polluted runoff using a new 2-stage ditch design is freely available for educational purposes online. Produced by the Nature Conservancy. http://www.vimeo.com/7901535

Hootch: Earlier today, I contacted you and mentioned that Iowa should sue the city of Austin for dumping. That was before I read your comment here, so we are in agreement! As I mentioned though, Iowa farmers are by far the worst Cedar River polluters. Both states need to work together to stop using our rivers as sewer systems.

Iowa should sue Austin for all the garbage the city crews dumped directly into the river with their snow removal directives. I personally saw kotex, needles and various other toxic litter pushed into the river by Austin's city endloaders during snow events where piles were accumulated behind Marcussen Park in Austin.
