Katie Roche is a creative, a mother, and a wife trying to live the good, green life in Iowa City, Iowa.

When Katie was 10 years old she convinced her local school board that recycling was not only the right thing to do, but that it could be profitable, which led to the first school recycling program in the state of Iowa!

She continues to find the economical benefit in being ecologically responsible and uses it to convince people to green up their lives. From riding her bike to choosing to package her most recent album in recycled sleeves (and tying each one shut with old lace instead of wasteful shrink wrap), Katie believes that every choice we make matters, even if you’re taking baby steps to get there.
