Hi there. I’m originally from Chicago (the best city in the world, in my opinion). Currently, Iowa City is my primary residence, with the Internet coming in at a close second. Through my writing, I hope to show people that there is so much on Earth worth saving and to inspire them to action and environmentalism.

At 13, I became a vegetarian in support of animal rights. Since then, my reasoning has evolved to also include health, the environment, and humanism. Eventually, I’ll make the transition to vegan — as soon as I can bear to give up chocolate. (Check out my first post: Californians Protect Farm Animals with Prop 2. It might help you understand why I’m a vegetarian.)

My work has appeared online in The Gazette, West Chicago Press, The Wildcat Chronicle, and Mind’s Eye Literary Magazine.

I am an odd mix of an idealist, realist, and dreamer. But I am always open to hearing and learning about new ideas and viewpoints that differ from my own. I love human connections and insightful conversation. So, let’s talk.
